Ancient Coin - Silver Drachm (“Heaven & Hell” type) - c. 11th–12th Century AD

Stylised Sasanian fire-altar design. Obverse: a curved arc of pellets above a thick curved device; scattered pellets below. On this series the upper pellets symbolize souls rising (heaven) and the lower field souls falling (hell); the central curve is a highly stylized remnant of the Sasanian fire-altar/attendant design that evolved in Western India.

Reverse: rows/clusters of pellets separated by a straight bar (your coin shows an L-shaped bar with pellet rows),

Size approx 15 mm,  Weight approx 3.8–4.2 g.
