2023 MS70 1oz .999 Silver "Key To My Kingdom" Coin - Cook Islands.

This is one of the most unusual modern silver issues produced by CIT for the Cook Islands. Rather than being a conventional round coin, it is struck in the shape of an ornate royal key.

The design symbolises the ceremonial keys presented to monarchs and the idea of holding "the key to the kingdom." The obverse incorporates the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II within the crown of the key, making it one of the final Elizabeth II themed Cook Islands issues.

Grade

An MS70 from NGC is the highest possible Mint State grade, meaning the piece is considered flawless under 5× magnification. While many examples survive in high grades, MS70 examples are still the most desirable for collectors.
