Produced in Nevada during the great silver-mining era of the American West, coins carrying the “CC” mintmark have developed an exceptionally strong collector following.\u003cbr\u003eThe 1883-CC is particularly associated with the remarkable Treasury discovery that eventually resulted in the GSA sales of the 1970s and early 1980s.
